Fresh Fashion Editorial for British Thoughts Magazine.
Creative director, fashion stylist, and friend Holli Kingsbury contacted me with a concept for a fashion editorial. Clothing is black and white, three backgrounds; black, light grey and a custom muslin she painted. She casted model MK Hickey, Click New York for the shoot. She is a fresh face and has the perfect look for the story. I booked makeup artist Hiro Yonemoto with Honey Artists and hair stylist Satoshi Ikeda to complete the team. I ordered a 6 yard length of black Duvetyn fabric and we scheduled the shoot day.
The shoot went smooth and seamlessly. The clothing was stunning with pieces from Comme Des Garcons, Junya Watanbe, Michel Costello X Revolve, Tory Burch, and others.
I had pitched the story to editor and stylist Derek Warburton who knew it would be perfect for his magazine British Thoughts. His art director Alexander Silkin and Managing Editor Cyan Leigh Dacasin did a fabulous job with the layout.
The story is called "Dot, Dot, Dot" and you can see it online by clicking here!
